Safa is a writer and editor whose specialises in Middle Eastern contemporary art and performance. Currently, she is the Arts, Culture and Music Editor for Aslan Media, a youth-driven online news source on the Middle East, and maintains her own monthly column, Revolution 2.1: Art and Resistance in the Middle East for Art21. She holds a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Art from Goddard College.
